David Gale – Chief Executive Officer

David Gale, located in Bassett, is the Chief Executive Officer of Sandhills State Bank.  David is a 6th generation Nebraskan and a native of North Platte.  He began his career in banking as a Private Banker with US Bank – and later co-founded Frontier Holdings, LLC, a Nebraska-based community bank holding company.  As Executive Vice President & General Counsel of Frontier, David helped grow the company to over $200 million in total assets, with multiple locations throughout rural Nebraska.  David graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and received his law degree from Creighton University.  He served as a Captain, Infantry, in the United States Army Reserve, from 1993 to 2003.  Mr. Gale also has ranching interests in Cherry County.

Ted Klug, Jr. – President

Ted Klug, Jr., located in North Platte, is the President of Sandhills State Bank.  Ted joined Sandhills State Bank after a twenty-five year career with Wells Fargo Bank, and Western Nebraska National Bank.  Klug supervises the lending and credit functions of the entire Bank, with locations in Bassett, Harrison, North Platte, and Valentine.  Mr. Klug is also responsible for the Southern Sandhills Region of the Bank, including the counties of Lincoln, Logan, McPherson, and Arthur.  In addition to his banking career, Ted serves on the Board of Governors of Mid-Plains Community College, and the Board of Directors of the Lincoln County Convention & Visitors Bureau.  Mr. Klug also has farming interests in Lincoln County.

Chad Corkle – Regional President

Chad Corkle, located in Bassett, is the Regional President for the North Central Region of Sandhills State Bank – including the counties of Rock, Brown, Keya Paha, Blaine, Garfield, and Loup.  Before taking this position, Chad had been Executive Vice President of Commercial Bank in Bassett.  Prior to joining Commercial Bank, Chad was Regional Manager for First National Bank of Torrington, Wyoming. Mr. Corkle also has ranching interests in Keya Paha County.

Monty Neiffer – Regional President

Monty Neiffer, located in Valentine, is the Regional President for the Northern Sandhills Region of Sandhills State Bank – including the counties of Cherry, Thomas, Hooker, and Grant.  Monty joined the Bank after a thirty-two year career with Wells Fargo Bank, Western Nebraska National Bank, and Farm Credit Services of America.  In addition to his banking career, Monty serves as President of the Sandhills Area Foundation; President of the Valentine-Cherry County Economic Development Board; and on the Board of Directors of the Cherry County Hospital Foundation.  Mr. Neiffer also has ranching interests in Cherry County.

Josh Dunn – Regional President

Josh Dunn, located in Harrison, is the Regional President for the Panhandle Region of Sandhills State Bank – including the counties of Sioux, Dawes, Sheridan, and Box Butte.  Josh joined Sandhills State Bank after a twelve-year career with Security First Bank.  In addition to his banking career, Josh also serves as a member of the Village Board of Harrison, and Captain of the Harrison Volunteer Fire Department.  Mr. Dunn also has ranching interests in Sioux County.
